Please arrive 10 mins before any new appointment. Set aside 1 to 2 hours for your a full set appointment and 1 hour for a refill appointment. (Timing varies per service) For best extension retention, do not wear any eye makeup to your appointments. We recommend removing contact lenses prior to your appointment.

Eyelash extensions will not damage your natural lashes because they are placed on an individual eyelash which allows the extension to shed with the natural lash.

If you are under 18 you must have a parent or guardian come with you at the time of your appointment to sign a consent form.

When applied properly, your extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes which may last up to two months.  Results will differ based on daily activities and general after-care will ultimately affect how long the extensions last.  We recommend getting a touch up every 2 to 3 weeks.  Your natural eyelashes shed every 45 - 60 days due to the natural growth cycle and are naturally replaced with the growth of a new eyelash.  Again, this may vary from client to client due to your natural lash cycle.  Touch ups generally take a short time and are relatively inexpensive.

Following all after-care instructions will aid in extending the life of your lash extensions.  The first 48 hours following your application are most crucial.  Care must be taken not to rub your eyes, pull your lashes, or scratch (this may cause your lashes to fall out prematurely).  Gently cleanse around the eye region with Borboleta Lash Bath using a Borboleta lash cleansing brush or your fingers.  Also, any cleansers and cosmetics containing glycols and carbonate can loosen the bond of the lash extensions. In the shower, you should avoid direct water spray on your extensions, do not use a steam bath, swim, or wash your face directly with hot water during your initial 24 hours post application.
